Tesla settles lawsuit against ex-employee who copied Autopilot code
Tesla has settled a lawsuit against a former employee who allegedly copied its Autopilot technology's source code. In 2019, Tesla had filed a lawsuit saying its employee Cao Guangzhi, who worked at Tesla for two years, copied the source code before joining XMotors. Cao's representatives said he never accessed any Tesla data or provided Tesla's information to XMotors.
